Art direction and design for Thrice’s eighth studio album. The personal lives of the band members were extremely tumultuous during recording — full of extreme highs and lows. The ambient, textural, and austere images are made to convey confusion and the blurry speed of the movement of time. The cover art is an obvious homage to the work of abstract painter Mark Rothko.

The packaging is printed on uncoated and purposefully thin paper stock to accelerate the aging and wear on the shelf.
