Caspian

Art direction, design, and photography for influential post-rock band Caspian’s fifth studio album. The cover features one feather for each band member — one white for the band’s bassist, Chris Friedrich, who tragically died in 2013.

The double gatefold packaging features metallic silver inks and alternating matte and high-gloss finishes. The vinyl is cut into only three of the sides — the fourth side is completely smooth. The suit also includes a robust CD package, cassette, and multiple digital singles.
